A Day in the Life
-Design & Development: Create and implement solutions using React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
-Collaboration: Work with Brand Teams, Product Teams, QA, Analytics, and stakeholders to track and communicate progress.
-Responsive Design: Build responsive and adaptive solutions for web applications.
-Agile Workflow: Participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning, execution, review, and retrospectives.
-Technical Design: Engage in technical design meetings, define front end architecture, conduct code reviews, and perform unit testing.
-Best Practices: Adhere to pattern libraries, style guides, site documentation, and SDLC.
-Optimization: Ensure website speed, performance, and SEO enhancements.
What You’ll Bring
-Experience: 5+ years of building websites with HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
-Expertise: Strong knowledge of CSS and JavaScript best practices.
-Responsiveness & Accessibility: Ability to create responsive, cross-browser, high-performance, and WCAG-compliant applications.
-Framework Proficiency: Experience with script frameworks like ReactJS, AngularJS, and Node.js.
-Tools: Proficient with browser tools like Chrome Developer Tools.
-Testing & Personalization: Experience with tools like Optimizely or Adobe Target is a plus.
-Bundlers: Familiarity with WebPack.
-Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
-Frameworks: Experience with JavaScript, Bootstrap or Foundation, and CSS preprocessors (LESS/SASS) or CSS -Modules / Styled Components.
-Project Management: Experience with JIRA.
-Industry: Retail experience is preferred.
-Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related experience.
-UI Development: Minimum of 5 years in Front End UI development.
