Full Stack Developer

The Role at a Glance:

Lincoln Financial Group is on an exciting technology transformation journey, led by our Omnichannel solutions teams. We are looking for a full-stack software engineer to join us remotely full-time. In this role, you’ll apply your engineering expertise to create a unique digital experience for our new Financial Wellness portfolio. Financial Wellness is a top priority for LFG, aiming to build an industry-leading program that helps customers achieve financial security. You’ll work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a new agile team focused on AWS applications. This position offers broad exposure to various LFG businesses and new products from LFG and strategic third-party partnerships. You’ll play a crucial role in our Cloud Transformation, taking LFG to new heights.

What You’ll Be Doing:

-Participate in the full lifecycle of application development, including designing, coding, testing, deploying, and monitoring.
-Work in AWS and utilize DevOps tools such as GitLab, SonarQube, and Fortify to drive operations and collaboration.
-Develop and implement software within a full-stack environment (Front end, API, persistence, integrations, test automation).
-Use back-end frameworks (e.g., Restful) and front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular 6+).
-Champion lean-Agile and DevOps principles and practices (e.g., CI/CD) while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.

What We’re Looking For:

1. Must-Haves:

-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of a degree) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Computer Engineering.
-3+ years of experience developing applications using backend Python and frontend Angular.
-Proven record of understanding and applying engineering best practices.
-Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
-Experience with unit test frameworks.
-Experience with microservice design (Service-Oriented Architecture) and RESTful web services.
-Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Delivery and DevOps.
-Experience working within an Agile Team.
-Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

2. Nice-to-Haves:

-Familiarity with backend Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot.
-Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium and JMeter.

-Pay Range: $67,000 – $120,700

Actual base pay may vary based on non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency, and qualifications. The base pay is one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package. This role may also be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on company, business unit, and individual performance. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives, and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
