Job Description:
TEKsystems is seeking a Ruby on Rails Developer to build out new capabilities in an existing web application. In this role, you’ll write consistent, well-thought-out unit and system tests for all new features. You’ll enhance existing CRUD operations within the evaluation data model and framework, delivering simple and consistent solutions that align with the existing CSS and JS conventions of the platform. Your work will enhance the web UI with new interfaces that make data collection intuitive for a wide audience, always prioritizing end-customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
-Build new capabilities within an existing Ruby on Rails web application.
-Write unit and system tests for all new features.
-Enhance CRUD operations within the evaluation data model and framework.
-Deliver consistent and simple solutions in line with existing CSS and JS conventions.
-Enhance the web UI with intuitive user interfaces.
-Write performant solutions that prioritize customer satisfaction.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
-Strong verbal and written communication skills.
-Ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations and virtual teams.
-BS/BA or equivalent degree in Computer Science or a similar field (preferred).
