Job Description:
Softrams is seeking several Senior Full Stack Developers experienced in modern web application development using React, Kubernetes, and AWS. Join our collaborative and agile team to support and deliver enterprise solutions. This role is 100% remote, but candidates must be available during standard East Coast working hours (9 AM – 5 PM ET).
Federal Requirements:
-Ability to obtain a U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance.
-Must reside in and be able to work in the United States.
-Must have lived in the U.S. for 3 of the last 5 years.
Required Qualifications:
-6+ years of experience with React, Node.js, and NoSQL databases.
-6+ years of experience in system design, architecture, and process flows for large systems.
-4+ years of hands-on experience in an AWS cloud environment.
-Strong experience with Git.
-Experience with cloud-based CI/CD and CM tools.
-Proven experience developing new user-facing features using React JS.
-Expertise in building reusable components and front-end libraries.
-Proficiency in translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
-Ability to optimize components for maximum performance across web-capable devices and browsers.
-Expertise in HTML, TypeScript, JavaScript, and CSS.
Bonus Qualifications:
-AWS certifications.
-Experience with Vue, React, and other front-end frameworks.
-Experience with NoSQL databases like DynamoDB or MongoDB.
-Ability to showcase personal or open-source projects on GitHub.
-Social profiles demonstrating work and participation in modern collaboration hubs.
-Proficiency with Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef, or Ant.
Responsibilities:
-Analyze and understand complex business and engineering challenges.
-Design end-to-end user experiences with practical, reliable, and efficient solutions.
-Develop modern, scalable, open-source solutions and architectures (web apps, microservices, data stores).
-Communicate complex solutions clearly to various stakeholders.
-Collaborate with small teams to develop and deliver product features iteratively.
-Advocate for modern application development practices and mentor team members.
-Support test-driven development with automated testing tools.
-Perform effectively as part of a team, solving challenges collaboratively.
-Quickly prototype and iterate concepts to explore alternatives.

Public Trust Clearance:
This role requires public trust clearance. Candidates must have lived in the U.S. for at least 3 of the last 5 years to qualify.
Work Location:
Softrams offers a 100% remote-first team environment with open-collaboration offices in Leesburg, VA, and Baltimore, MD, for those who prefer on-site work. We operate in the Eastern Time Zone with standard hours from 9 AM to 5 PM ET, allowing flexibility based on team needs.
