Position Overview: Full Stack Developer II
Sunnova is seeking a Full Stack Developer II to join our dynamic and growing team. In this role, you will design, develop, integrate, implement, and support scalable web-based and mobile application software. You will also design and develop APIs built on cloud-enabled technologies to deliver high-performance, secure, and user-friendly solutions.
Key Responsibilities
-Software Development: Develop, enhance, and maintain custom software applications and integrations with third-party applications/services.
-Lifecycle Management: Work in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including functional analysis, development of technical requirements, technical design, prototyping, coding, testing, deployment, data migration, and support.
-Problem-Solving: Take ownership of problems and issues, proactively working with business stakeholders and IT team members.
-Best Practices: Adhere to best practices in coding, data cleansing, and data management.
-Team Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups, work with the scrum team on projects, and support delivery timelines and priorities.
-Solution Design: Design, document, and present solutions to senior IT leaders.
-Independence: Solve problems independently with limited supervision.
-Issue Resolution: Find, analyze, and fix bugs and performance problems as they arise.
-Matrix Environment: Work effectively in a matrixed environment with day-to-day tasks determined by a scrum team and career development managed separately.
-Support: Collaborate with the Application Support team to respond to reported system issues.
Minimum Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
-3+ years of software development experience.
-Proficient in multiple programming languages, including JavaScript and C#.
-Experience in full-stack development using React and .NET Framework/Core.
-Familiarity with relational database concepts, structured query language, logic modeling, best practices, and design.
-Experience with Agile/Scrum software development processes.
-Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
-Proficient understanding of code versioning using Git.
-Legally authorized to work in the US for any employer.
Preferred Qualifications
-Familiarity with Salesforce.
-Experience with cloud infrastructure, especially AWS.
-Familiarity with various design and architectural patterns.
-Experience working on deregulated power systems.
-Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
-Effective and persuasive communication skills with internal and external parties.
-Ability to identify technical improvement opportunities and recommend solutions.
Working Conditions
-Some overtime required.
-Extended periods working at a computer workstation.
