Full Stack Java Developer – SR Level

Job Overview

Provision IAM is rapidly expanding, and we’re looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join our dynamic team! You’ll collaborate with Project Managers and Project Teams to design and implement technical solutions for our service clients.

Responsibilities

-Enhance existing functionality and develop new features using Java, Java Server Pages, HTML, JavaScript, React, JQuery, and SQL.
-Document existing systems, new functionality, testing procedures, and status updates.
-Debug and troubleshoot production systems and resolve technical issues.
-Participate in project meetings internally and with clients.
-Analyze user requirements to inform application design.
-Align application design with business goals.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Design, Development, DevOps, QA, and Project Managers.
-Ensure continuous professional self-development.

Requirements

-6+ years of experience with Java and Java EE Web development.
-Strong SQL experience with relational databases such as Postgres, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, or similar.
-Extensive experience with front-end technologies like JavaScript, React, Angular, JQuery, NPM, and CSS.
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
-Proficient with Java build/dependency frameworks such as Gradle and Maven.
-Knowledge of common Java frameworks like Struts, Spring, Spring Boot, Java Server Pages (JSP), and Java Server Faces (JSF).
-Understanding of HTTP protocol, SOAP, and RESTful web service concepts.
-Strong knowledge of source control principles including code promotion, merging, and branching with Git and/or GitLab.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Good organizational skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
-Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
-Attention to detail and security.
-Willingness to learn new technologies.

Preferred Experience

-Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes.
-Test-driven development (TDD), unit, and functional testing with tools such as Junit and/or Mockito.
Linux, Bash, or other command-line experience.
Java Persistence API (JPA).
-Experience with encryption/cryptography.
-Interest in DevOps, including tooling and automation.
-Experience with release management of enterprise applications.
-Understanding of HIPAA and PCI compliance programs and application of OWASP best practices.
-Experience as part of an Agile development team.

Other Requirements

-Must be authorized to work in the United States; Provision IAM is unable to sponsor work visas.
-Must be highly proficient in written and spoken English.

In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.

Salary

$85,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience. We are currently seeking candidates interested in full-time employment.
