Full Stack Developer

Emphasys Software’s Housing Locator, a subsidiary of Constellation Software (TSX: CSU), is leading the online marketplace and technology solutions provider for the US affordable housing industry. We’re looking for a talented Full Stack Developer to enhance our infrastructure and build outstanding products.

Responsibilities:

-Assist in transitioning to Azure from the current system.
-Enhance and update the core SaaS web application for external customers.
-Contribute to developing next-generation functionalities for customers.
-Collaborate with peers on feature and architecture implementations.
-Communicate effectively and collaborate across teams, including sales, support, and management.
-Conduct unit testing, code reviews, and participate in testing.
-Prepare detailed technical documentation.
-Diagnose and resolve problems to exceed user expectations.
-Review requirements specifications and identify gaps and inconsistencies.
-Participate actively in Agile-based iteration and SCRUM ceremonies.

Requirements:

-5+ years of experience building web applications.
-Proficiency in Python or similar web frameworks.
-Experience with Linux and databases like PostgreSQL or MS-SQL.
-Strong skills in HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and version control with Git.
-Team-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
-BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
