The Opportunity

BitMEX is building a brand new mobile app to provide users with a more convenient and user-friendly trading experience. As a Senior Software Engineer (Mobile), you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing core features for the app. You’ll work in a small, collaborative team to bring this exciting project to life.

Responsibilities

-Collaborate with product managers and designers to create innovative user experiences
-Help establish and maintain high coding standards through code reviews and knowledge sharing
-Develop high-quality, well-tested, and performant code for the BitMEX React Native mobile app
-Mentor junior engineers on coding practices, design concepts, and software engineering best practices
-Stay up-to-date on the latest mobile development technologies and explore new possibilities for the app

Qualifications

-Experience with JavaScript and/or React Native development
-Strong experience building and scaling mobile applications
-Experience with mobile end-to-end testing
-Ability to create user-friendly interfaces for complex financial products
-Familiarity with current UX trends and an interest in exploring new concepts
-Ability to work effectively in a small team environment and take ownership of features
-Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
-Passion for innovation and the cryptocurrency space
