About the Role
This is a contract position for a mid-level Art Director/Designer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with a team of copywriters, marketers, and product experts to create compelling visuals for various projects, including websites, user interfaces, and marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities
-Understand project goals and develop creative concepts aligned with conversion optimization strategies
-Improve existing website designs by identifying areas for improvement
-Update websites with new features, products, and user flows
-Collaborate with researchers, developers, and other stakeholders to translate marketing strategies into visual solutions
-Understand target audience needs and motivations to create user-centric designs
-Advocate for your design decisions while maintaining positive relationships with team members
-Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively
-Build strong internal and external relationships
Qualifications
-5+ years of experience in website UI/UX design or art direction, preferably in advertising
-Proven experience in updating websites for new products, features, and user flows
-Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality design work
-Excellent typography, layout, and conceptual design skills
-Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Photoshop
-Solid understanding of user experience (UX) principles
Bonus Skills
-Experience with CRM campaigns, email marketing, and performance banners
-Experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO) and direct-response marketing
-Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
-Bachelor’s degree in design, advertising, or a related field (preferred)
