In this remote-first role, you’ll be a Senior Software Engineer, playing a key role in building a next-generation data product.

Here’s what you’ll do:

• Build data pipelines and APIs using open-source tools like Kafka, Trino, DuckDB, and Superset
• Work on both backend development and infrastructure to create a user-friendly data exploration platform
• Empower users to tell data stories and uncover hidden insights

Are you a perfect fit?

• You have 4+ years of experience building RESTful APIs (Java, Scala, Python, Rust, Go)
• You have 1+ years of experience with data-intensive applications (Kafka, Delta Lake, JDBC)
• You have a strong understanding of software design and architecture
• You’re passionate about building data tools that make a difference (experience with DuckDB a plus!)
• You have experience with cloud-native development (Docker, Kubernetes)
• You can obtain a Top Secret security clearance (US only)

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience with Open Policy Agent and Strimzi
