Oddball is a small, values-driven company that believes in the power of understanding and appreciating the projects they work on. They’re looking for a talented UX Designer to join their team and contribute to a pivotal federal program.

The Opportunity

This is a fully remote position where you’ll work closely with engineers and product managers to oversee the entire user experience design process, from concept to implementation. You’ll be the go-to person for all UX research, design, and implementation for a core product.

Responsibilities

-Conduct user research, including writing plans, interview guides, and facilitating user testing sessions
-Create prototypes, wireframes, and other design artifacts to communicate your vision
-Think strategically and translate complex problems into clear solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences
-Collaborate with the team to ensure designs are accessible and meet Section 508 compliance standards
-Adapt to existing design systems and work effectively within Agile development methodologies
-Take direction from senior leadership and translate it into actionable steps

Qualifications

-Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a low-level security clearance
-Bachelor’s degree required
-6+ years of experience in UX research and design
-Proven ability to conduct user research, create prototypes, and iterate on designs
-Excellent communication and collaboration skills
-Experience working with Agile development and Git version control
-Ability to think strategically and solve problems creatively
