Senior Product Designer, Digital Experience

Amplify, a leading K-12 curriculum and assessment provider, is seeking a skilled Senior Product Designer to join their creative team. In this role, you’ll play a crucial role in designing interactive user interfaces (UI) that complement Amplify’s high-quality print curriculum.

As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll:

-Lead design problem-solving to create compelling user interfaces that inform a cohesive print experience.
-Develop polished visual designs that align with Amplify’s design system.
-Establish a streamlined design process, incorporating stakeholder feedback and planning for additional assets.
-Maintain and champion Amplify’s style guides, ensuring consistent design across new projects.
-Manage content migration into design templates.
-Present design work to internal teams and stakeholders for review.
-Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (design, product, content) to define project scope, direction, and quality standards.
-Participate in creative brainstorming, concept development, and design execution.
-Provide thoughtful feedback to colleagues and actively participate in collaborative discussions.
-Collaborate with user researchers on testing plans and interactive prototypes.
-Analyze user testing results and incorporate findings into design iterations.

You’re a great fit if you have:

-5+ years of experience in digital graphic design, digital product development, or a similar field.
-A strong understanding of graphic design principles and user-centered design approaches, with a focus on typography and layout.
-A keen eye for detail and the ability to provide developers with feasible design alternatives.
-Experience managing design feedback cycles and production schedules.
-Experience confidently presenting design work at various stages of development.
-Experience collaborating effectively in multifunctional teams as a design lead.
-Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (CC), Figma, and a willingness to learn new tools.
-Experience with Agile processes and Content Management Systems (CMSs).
-Experience designing responsive desktop layouts.
-A portfolio showcasing your design skills and recent work.
-Basic knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS to collaborate with developers.
