In this exciting role (US – San Francisco or New York), you’ll be a Research Scientist, playing a key role in:

• Pioneering medical NLP: Advance the field of natural language processing (NLP) in healthcare, focusing on areas like conversation summarization and outcome prediction.
• Real-world impact: Develop and publish cutting-edge research that gets implemented in real products used by doctors worldwide.
• Collaboration is key: Work closely with a team of talented researchers, engineers, and medical professionals.
• Always learning: Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in AI and continuously refine Abridge’s technology based on doctor feedback.

Are you a perfect fit?

• You have a PhD or Master’s degree in a relevant field like Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
• You have a strong research background with publications in top AI conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML).
• You have experience building and deploying real-world machine learning solutions.
• You’re an expert in deep learning libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.) and statistical analysis.
• You’re a critical thinker with a passion for the healthcare domain.

Bonus points if you have experience with:
