Algolia is a leading company that provides API-first search and discovery solutions for businesses. They’re searching for a Senior Data Engineer to join their Data Ingestion team and help them build a scalable platform for data collection and processing.

What you’ll do:
-Design and build a self-service platform for scalable data ingestion that can handle billions of records per day.
-Develop data pipelines for data collection, storage, processing, and analysis.
-Build integrations with external APIs and services.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet their needs.
-Mentor and guide other team members.
You’re a great fit if you have:
-Experience building and operating distributed systems at scale.
-Experience designing and building data pipelines.
-Experience designing reliable, maintainable, and available applications.
-Experience with public cloud providers (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
-Excellent communication and organization skills.
-Experience working in a high-growth startup environment.
Bonus points for:
-Experience with the technologies used by Algolia (Golang, GCP, Kafka, BigQuery, etc.).
-A passion for problem-solving and a willingness to learn new things.
Salary Range: $134,500 – $150,000 per year (base salary) for remote US positions (exact compensation may vary).
