Remote Backend Engineer: Help Millions Learn & Improve Their Lives (Elevate Labs)
Do you love building scalable backend systems and using your skills to make a positive impact?
Elevate Labs, the company behind award-winning learning apps Elevate and Balance (downloaded over 60 million times!), is searching for a talented Backend Engineer to join their remote team!
In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining the infrastructure that powers their mobile apps
- Leading technical projects and collaborating with various teams
- Designing and implementing high-performance, reliable backend systems
- Contributing to the growth and direction of Elevate Labs’ products and engineering team
You’re a perfect fit if you have:
- 5+ years of backend development experience
- A passion for solving product-related problems
- Experience with integrating 3rd party APIs and various technologies (Ruby on Rails, AWS, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- A drive to improve processes and complete projects independently
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with mobile app backends
- Experience with web or full-stack development
- An interest in mental health, brain training, and meditation
