About the Opportunity

ECL is creating a groundbreaking cloud-based lab, allowing scientists to ditch the bench and run experiments remotely. As an Application Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in building the software that makes it all possible.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Developing the ECL Command Center, a scientist’s toolkit for designing, tracking, and analyzing experiments
• Building user-friendly interfaces (think React!) for a seamless user experience
• Collaborating closely with designers to create a beautiful and intuitive platform
• Contributing to our software development best practices
• Helping us choose the right tools and technologies for the job

You’re a Perfect Fit If You Have:

• 5+ years of website development experience
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills
• Experience with React and Redux (or similar frameworks)
• A passion for pushing the boundaries of web development

Bonus Points for:

• Experience with website testing frameworks (Cypress, Percy, etc.)
• A knack for problem-solving and working in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written communication and documentation skills
• Experience working with design teams
• A portfolio of projects you’re proud of (with a quick explanation for each!)
