EnergyHub is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their Mercury Edge Connect Team. You’ll play a key role in integrating new devices with their platform, helping utilities offer more renewable energy options to their customers.

What you’ll do:
-Contribute to all aspects of the software stack (distributed services, queuing, data layers).
-Expand and improve their cloud-based production system.
-Design, develop, test, and review code.
-Work on next-generation demand response and energy efficiency services.
-Collaborate with device manufacturers for device integration.
-Work with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless integration experience for partners.
You’re a great fit if you have:
-5+ years of professional software engineering experience (preferably in a small to medium-sized team).
-Strong Java skills (Java 11+ preferred).
-Experience with web services and RESTful APIs (using Spring).
Bonus points for:
-Experience with scripting languages (Python).
-Knowledge of information security (PKI, TLS, OAuth, SSO, penetration testing).
-Front-end development skills (React, Sass, Webpack, Backbone.js).
-Experience with development tools and processes (automated testing, CI/CD, monitoring).
-Database and data processing experience (experience with specific tools mentioned in the job description is a plus).
Salary Range: $120,000 – $170,000 per year (based on location, skills, and experience).
