Senior Backend Software Developer

EOS Worldwide is searching for a talented and experienced Senior Backend Software Developer to join our growing team. You’ll play a key role in crafting robust, scalable backend services using the .NET framework, ensuring a seamless user experience for our core business applications.

Here’s what you’ll do:

-Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable code using C# and the .NET framework.
-Implement robust backend services and APIs to support web and mobile applications.
-Collaborate closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to bring projects to life.
-Participate in code reviews, providing valuable feedback to your peers.
-Write and maintain unit tests to guarantee code quality and reliability.
-Stay on top of industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
-Proactively suggest improvements to streamline processes and systems.

We’re looking for someone with:

-A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
-At least 7 years of backend development experience using the .NET framework.
-A proven track record in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices.
-Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and Entity Framework.
-A solid understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases like SQL Server.
-Experience with cloud platforms (ideally Microsoft Azure).
-Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (Terraform experience is a plus).

Bonus points if you have:

-A functional understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks, especially Vue.js).
-Experience with other programming languages (Python, Golang).
-Experience integrating third-party APIs (Stripe, Postmark, Hubspot, etc.).
-A passion for clean, readable, and maintainable code.
-Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
-Top-notch communication and interpersonal skills (collaborative, inclusive, team player).
-The ability to thrive in both independent and team-oriented environments.
