What We Are Building
Fable is on a mission to become the AI app for consumer entertainment, connecting people through the stories they love. We enable users to build communities, share insights, and make the experience of reading and watching interactive and fun. Our AI and machine learning technologies recommend stories based on personal preferences and help organize all reading and watching activities in one place.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer with expertise in generative modeling, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Large Language Models (LLMs).
Responsibilities
- Develop ML/AI models using our catalog of over 1 million books.
- Work with cutting-edge technologies like GPT-4, ChatGPT, and text-to-image models such as Stable Diffusion.
- Create models to improve generative prompts, evaluate AI-generated outputs, and learn from human feedback.
- Collaborate closely with the Product and Engineering teams to test prototypes with real users.
- Identify new opportunities for ML/AI and advocate for data-driven thinking within the company.

- Curiosity to translate business needs into actionable data insights.
- Strong partnership and communication skills.
- Expertise in ML, including deep learning, NLP, LLMs, and generative modeling techniques.
