In this exciting role (US & Remote), you’ll be a Figma Accessibility and Design System Engineer, playing a key role in:
- Shaping the future: Help build and refine Figma’s design system, the core of their UI components.
- Spreading the love: Champion Figma’s design system across the company, making it well-adopted and well-loved.
- Accessibility champion: Integrate accessibility best practices into Figma’s core functionalities.
- Building bridges: Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to streamline workflows.
- Level up the team: Help other engineers build high-quality interfaces and improve development efficiency.
Are you a perfect fit?
- You have 3+ years of experience shipping features or products as a front-end/full-stack developer.
- You’ve tackled design systems before, collaborating with other engineers as your customers.
- You’re an expert in a mainstream JS framework (React, Vue, Angular, Svelte, etc.).
- You have a passion for visual design and want to help others create exceptional user experiences.
- You thrive in a collaborative environment and communicate clearly.
- You’re eager to learn, mentor, and tackle new challenges.
Bonus points if you have experience with:
- Building accessible user experiences
- Open-source frameworks
- TypeScript/JavaScript and CSS
- Technical leadership
