In this remote role (US/Canada – Eastern Timezone), you’ll be a Software Engineer (Backend) on the Fountain Worker Experience team. You’ll play a key role in:
- Building innovative products: Design, develop, test, and maintain features that enhance the Fountain platform.
- Working with the best: Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers.
- Taking ownership: Plan, deliver, and be accountable for your assigned products.
- Staying sharp: Keep the Fountain codebase efficient, secure, and reliable.
- Continuous improvement: Contribute to improving core technologies and architecture.
Are you a perfect fit?
- You have 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- You have a proven track record of building product-oriented software.
- You’re a technical expert with strong skills in software development, architecture,
- TypeScript, and cloud solutions.
- You can work independently and make decisions with limited information.
- You have excellent communication skills in English (French a plus).
Bonus points if you have experience with:
- B2B SaaS startups and remote international teams
- Event-driven architectures, serverless architectures, high volume systems, and API strategies
- MongoDB, AWS, microservices, web security, and Agile methodologies
