Senior UX Designer

About the Opportunity

We’re seeking a talented and experienced Senior UX Designer to join our growing team and lead the charge in crafting a comprehensive design system using Figma. This system will be the foundation for all our digital products, ensuring a consistent and delightful user experience.

Responsibilities

-Design and develop a robust design system in Figma.
-Maintain and improve component design libraries based on user feedback.
-Collaborate with cross-platform engineering teams to build components.
-Define and document design patterns, UI components, and interaction guidelines.
-Work with developers to translate designs into reusable web components.
-Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs for optimal user experience and accessibility.
-Champion design best practices and educate team members on the design system.
-Showcase a strong portfolio with past design system projects.

You’re a perfect fit if you have:

-Bachelor’s degree (required).
-5+ years of experience in UX, visual design, interaction design, or product design (or a relevant master’s degree with 4+ years of experience).
-Mastery of Figma and a deep understanding of its design system capabilities.
-Experience collaborating with developers to ensure design fidelity in web components.
-Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
-Strong documentation skills with a focus on clarity and detail.
-A passion for user-centered design and accessibility.

Bonus points for:

-Experience with Atomic Design methodologies.
-Knowledge of front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
-Experience with accessibility testing tools and best practices.
