Hugging Face is a fast-growing company on a mission to democratize good machine learning. We’re looking for a passionate intern (Machine Learning Advocate Engineer) to join our team and make Audio Language Models (ALMs) easier to use for everyone.
In this internship, you’ll:
- Help build the next generation of ALMs by improving open-source tools.
- Integrate audio data providers like Common Voice and GigaSpeech.
- Develop demos showcasing cutting-edge audio/voice models.
- Create leaderboards for evaluating models within the Hugging Face ecosystem.
- Collaborate with the ML for Audio community and champion open-source best practices.
Bonus points if you have experience with:
- Building demos using Gradio and Spaces.
- Contributing to open-source libraries like Transformers or Datasets.
About You:
- You’re passionate about open-source and making ALMs accessible.
- You have a strong technical background and a generalist mindset.
- You love working with engineers, researchers, and the broader audio community.
