Senior Java Full Stack Developer

Are you an experienced Full Stack Developer looking to make an impact in federal projects? We are seeking a talented developer to join our team in supporting a federal customer. In this role, you will be responsible for the analysis, design, development, and testing of an enterprise-wide web application using Java-based technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

-Full System Development: Support the entire system development life cycle using Java technologies.
-Coding Standards: Adhere to and implement coding standards.
-Solution Development: Understand business requirements and recommend effective solutions.
-Communication: Engage with product owners to discuss and resolve issues.
-Independent Work: Work independently and create/update technical documentation.
-Technology Adoption: Quickly learn and adopt new technologies as required by the project.

Required Qualifications:

-Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (Engineering, Math, or Science degrees are acceptable).
-Experience: 8+ years of related experience.
-Programming Skills: Strong skills in Java (8 and older), J2EE, JSP, JavaScript, React, Spring, Spring Security, Hibernate/JPA, JQuery, and Bootstrap.
-Web Services: Extensive experience developing RESTful Web Services using frameworks like Node.js and Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud).
-WebSocket Technologies: Experience with JavaScript, Maven, Jenkins, Ansible, JBoss, and Tomcat.
-Microservices: Experience using microservices architecture.
-Data Technologies: Proficient in XML and JSON technologies, and messaging tools/software.
-Testing Frameworks: Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit/TestNG.
-Databases: Extensive experience with PostgreSQL, data modeling, MySQL, and writing complex SQL queries, procedures, and functions.
-Agile Methodologies: Experience in Agile methodologies and working as part of an agile/scrum team.
-Design Solutions: Strong skills in designing solutions for complex projects.
-Clearance: US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Suitability/Public Trust Background Clearance.
-Technical Assessment: Successful completion of a technical assessment.

Preferred Qualifications:

-Project Models: Experience operating in both traditional and Agile project models.
-Grants Management: Experience supporting grants management related projects.
-Cloud Technologies: Experience with AWS or other cloud technologies.
-NoSQL: Experience with NoSQL databases.
-Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Sun Certified Java Professional or Object-Oriented Analysis and Design.
