Mercury is building a premium consumer bank account for investors and founders. They offer high-yield savings, free wires, ATM fee reimbursements, and innovative features like User Permissions and Auto-Transfer Rules.
In this remote-first role, you’ll be a key player in building the next generation of Mercury Personal.
Here’s what you’ll do:
- Own key features of Mercury Personal, from concept to launch
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers
- Help port existing features from Mercury’s business banking platform
- Be a product-minded engineer, passionate about building and shipping new features
Are you a perfect fit?
- You have 4+ years of software development experience
- You’re excited to learn Haskell (Mercury’s primary programming language)
- You have experience making impactful architectural decisions
- You can clearly communicate technical ideas and trade-offs
- You’re a natural problem-solver who thrives in ambiguous situations
- You’re a team player who enjoys helping others succeed
