OPENLANE is searching for a Senior Software Engineer to join their autonomous cross-functional team. You’ll collaborate on all aspects of the product development process, from ideation to delivery, using modern technologies on the AWS cloud platform.
What you’ll do:
-Partner with product and business teams to define, build, test, and deliver innovative solutions.
-Lead the development of new applications based on existing platforms.
-Develop backend applications using Node.js and TypeScript.
-Design and implement RESTful APIs.
-Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
You’re a great fit if you have:
-7+ years of experience building production-ready Node.js applications.
-Strong understanding of JavaScript, libraries, and frameworks.
-Experience with relational databases (Postgres, MySQL, Oracle).
-Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Git version control.
-A passion for high-quality code, DevOps practices, and continuous improvement.
-Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Bonus points for:
-Experience with test-driven development, serverless technologies, and NoSQL databases.
