Paytient is searching for a Backend Software Engineer to join their growing team. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design, develop, and deploy features that empower patients to manage their healthcare costs.

What you’ll do:
-Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers on new features.
-Participate in deployments, on-call shifts, and support responsibilities.
-Build scalable, testable, performant, and secure software applications.
-Continuously learn and share your knowledge to grow your skills and career.
You’re a great fit if you have:
-2-4 years of experience in the entire product software development lifecycle (SDLC).
-Proficiency in Java or other object-oriented programming (OOP) languages.
-Experience building microservices, service-oriented architectures (SOA), or distributed systems (especially on AWS).
-A passion for problem-solving and a history of contributing to technical discussions on architecture and system design.
