About Pie
Pie Insurance is on a mission to make insurance easy for small businesses. We’re a growing company with a fun and collaborative work environment, and we’re looking for a talented Insurance Accountant to join our team.
The Role
- Be a key player in our Accounting department, helping us build efficient and accurate financial processes.
- You’ll handle everything from monthly close to financial statement preparation, with a focus on insurance accounting.
- This is a great opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced company that’s making a real difference.
You’re a Great Fit If You Have:
- An accounting degree and 5-7 years of experience, ideally in insurance accounting.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 944 standards.
- Experience with reinsurance a plus.
- A keen eye for detail and excellent documentation skills.
- The ability to learn quickly and adapt to change.
- Great communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong Excel skills and proficiency in accounting software (Sage Intacct, Workiva) a plus.
