The Opportunity:
The US Census Bureau is undergoing a digital transformation to leverage cutting-edge technology for the 2030 Decennial Census. T-Rex Solutions is searching for a talented AI/ML Engineer to design and build next-generation data-driven applications using cloud-native technologies.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the development of AI/ML solutions using Python, PySpark, and AWS SageMaker.
- Design and prototype applications that enhance the efficiency and functionality of the Decennial Census systems.
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and DevOps teams to integrate AI/ML models and Big Data processing.
Ensure code quality, maintain version control, and document development processes for future reference.
Brainstorm innovative solutions using cloud-native technologies to meet the evolving needs of the Census Bureau.
You’re a Perfect Fit If You Have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 12 years of hands-on development experience, ideally in government or public-facing environments.
- Proven expertise in cloud-native development with Python, PySpark, and AWS SageMaker.
- Experience using data engineering or data science tools.
- US Citizenship and ability to pass a security clearance.
Bonus Points for:
- Experience with US Census Bureau and AWS technologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A proven track record of leading data-centric projects.
