Be a Backend Engineer: Help Power the Electric Vehicle Revolution (Remote-OK, SF Bay Area Bonus!)

In this remote-friendly role (with an SF Bay Area office option!), you’ll be a Backend Engineer building and managing crucial integrations for our next growth phase.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Design and implement features for WeaveGrid’s data systems, including EV charger and car API integrations
  • Work with Python, relational databases, and microservices architecture
  • Take ownership of complex projects and potentially lead or guide other engineers
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to expand our offerings and improve reliability, data quality, and scalability
  • Help design and co-develop integrations with EV charger and car manufacturers (OEMs)
  • Write clean and well-tested code
  • Manage deployments and troubleshoot issues in our AWS cloud environment
  • Share your knowledge through code and design reviews
  • Utilize tools like Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GitHub, Jira/Confluence, and CircleCI
