Leading our web client team, you will collaborate closely with product, marketing, and design teams to plan, experiment, and release features that enhance user acquisition and retention. Responsibilities:
-Feature Development: Lead the design, development, and timely delivery of major new features across current and future products.
-Code Reviews and Collaboration: Conduct and participate in code reviews, fostering a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement.
-Problem Solving: Tackle complex engineering and user experience challenges with elegant solutions that enhance usability.
-Ownership and Impact: Take ownership of critical application areas impacting millions of users, ensuring robust performance and reliability.
-Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver enhancements, platform improvements, and bug fixes.
-Continuous Deployment: Write testable, reliable code and deploy it to production systems using best practices in CI/CD.
-System Operations: Manage large-scale production systems distributed globally, ensuring seamless operation and performance monitoring.
-Innovation and Improvement: Recommend and implement alternative approaches using new technologies to solve complex problems effectively.
Qualifications:
-Education and Experience: BS in Computer Science or equivalent with 10+ years of experience in software development.
-Technical Skills: Proficiency in OOP languages like C++, Java, or similar, along with experience in web servers (e.g., Tomcat, Apache), Kubernetes, and TestNG.
-Computer Science Fundamentals: Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
-Development Expertise: Deep understanding of design patterns, code structure, and deployment architectures.
-Web Technologies: Experience with Node.js, HTTP, JSON, DNS, TCP/IP, and debugging multi-threaded web applications.
-Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, essential for effective collaboration across teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Domain Experience: Previous experience in mail application development and Unix/Linux environments.
-Mobile Development: Familiarity with mobile web/app development.
-Agile Methodologies: Experience with SCRUM or similar agile development methodologies.

Compensation:
The compensation for this position ranges from $143,625 to $299,375 annually, depending on location, skills, and experience. Additional benefits include healthcare, 401K savings plan, company holidays, vacation, sick time, parental leave, and more.
