Senior Software Engineer – Member and Provider Analytics (MPA)

HQRI Technology & Analytics (HTA) supports these efforts with innovative technical solutions, including the Member & Provider Analytics (MPA) organization.

Job Summary:

As a Senior Software Engineer on the MPA team, you will standardize quality assurance procedures, oversee testing and debugging, and develop solutions for complex software issues. You’ll play a key role in influencing department strategy and making decisions on technical approaches independently.

Required Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Web Software Engineer, from conception to deployment.
-Strong understanding of security best practices and vulnerabilities in web applications.
-Proficiency in automation using Python or similar languages.
-Expertise in front-end development technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Vue.js.
-Experience with databases (e.g., SQL Server, PLSQL) and cloud technologies (e.g., ASA/Databricks).
-Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
-Passion for improving consumer experiences and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
-Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
-Understanding of Healthcare-related data.
-Experience with performance optimization tools and techniques.
-Familiarity with Power BI/Power App and Azure DevOps.

-Remote or Hybrid Home/Office work setup required.
-Minimum internet speed requirements apply for remote work.
-Home office in specific states may qualify for internet expense reimbursement.
-Dedicated workspace required to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Pay Range: $104,800 – $144,300 per year, with potential for bonus incentives based on performance.
