Position Summary

This role is pivotal in overseeing month-end closing activities, account reconciliations, GL account analysis, payroll and benefit reconciliations, project accounting, fixed asset management, and supporting audits and budget processes.

Responsibilities

• Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Perform thorough analysis and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
• Journal Entries: Prepare and post monthly journal entries as assigned.
• Payroll and Benefit Reconciliations: Ensure accuracy and reconcile payroll and benefit accounts.
• Project Accounting: Manage project accounts related to R&D functions.
• Fixed Asset Maintenance: Track and maintain fixed asset accounts.
• Budget Support: Assist in preparing business budgets.
• Audit Support: Collaborate in annual external audit processes and respond to audit requests.
• 401K Audit Leadership: Lead the annual audit process for 401K accounts.
• Special Projects: Contribute to and lead special projects as assigned.

Desired Education and Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in accounting roles.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly strong Excel skills.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Strong communication skills with keen attention to detail.

Travel

Expected travel: 0%-10%.

Pay Transparency Notice

Depending on your location, the target annual salary for this position ranges from $85,000.00 to $90,000.00. Additionally, eligible employees may receive a 5% discretionary bonus at fiscal year-end.
