Stronghold, a Forbes Fintech 50 company, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their growing engineering team. They’re building an open API platform that powers modern payments and financial services.

What you’ll do:
-Develop and maintain Stronghold’s platform APIs using various programming languages (Go, .Net, Rust, Node.js, Python).
-Collaborate with product management and customer-facing teams to design solutions for complex customer problems.
-Design, build, and implement new platform functionalities and APIs.
-Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems for Stronghold’s API customers.
-Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices across the engineering team.
You’re a great fit if you have:
-6+ years of experience developing software on a team.
-Proficiency in multiple programming languages (Go, .NET, Rust, Node.js, or Python).
-Experience building APIs open to external developers.
-Experience building user interfaces or large, single-page web applications (a plus).
-Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
-A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
-A passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies (including blockchain technology).
-Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
-The ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
Bonus points for:
-Experience working in the financial services industry, especially with payments (Visa/MC, ACH, etc.).
