What you’ll do:
-Lead the development, maintenance, and innovation of Bixal’s design system.
-Collaborate with designers and other engineers to improve the design system and user experience.
-Develop responsive websites that are accessible and work well on all devices.
-Write clean, well-documented code that adheres to best practices.
-Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle (from design to deployment).
You’re a great fit if you have:
-A bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in web design and development (including mobile and responsive design).
-Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, web components, and modern build tools.
-Experience with version control systems (like Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
-Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
-A passion for accessibility and creating user-friendly experiences.
Bonus points for:
-Experience working with design systems.
-Experience contributing to open-source projects.
-Ability to obtain a public trust clearance.
