The Role
In this role, you’ll play a key role in defining the vision for Figma’s search function and bringing it to life. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, prototype, and iterate on search features that are both powerful and user-friendly.
Responsibilities
-Contribute to the overall product strategy for search
-Design intuitive and user-friendly search experiences
-Work with engineers to implement search features
-Collaborate with product managers, researchers, and designers
-Prototype and iterate on search functionalities
-Help craft a clear vision for search across Figma’s product
Qualifications
-5+ years of experience designing UX/UI for software products
-Proven ability to design simple solutions for complex problems
-Experience working independently and taking ownership of projects
-Proficiency in prototyping and design tools
-Strong communication and collaboration skills
Bonus Points
-Experience with AI and machine learning concepts
-Passion for UI details and high-quality design
-Ability to mentor junior designers
Compensation & Benefits
-Competitive salary (SF/NY Hub: $149,000—$308,000 USD)
