The Opportunity

Northspyre is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their close-knit development team. In this role, you will play a key role in building and integrating critical features for their real estate development platform. You’ll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on a product used by major real estate teams.

Responsibilities

-Design, develop, and maintain integrations with various third-party services
-Collaborate with engineers and product teams to ensure high-quality code and a consistent technical standard
-Work with customer success to deliver integrations that meet customer needs
-Troubleshoot and fix integration issues
-Design and build user-friendly UIs
-Ensure site reliability and resolve production problems
-Lead, mentor, and guide junior engineers
-Participate in designing scalable, performant, and reliable systems

Qualifications

-5+ years of experience writing high-quality code in a collaborative environment
-3+ years of Python development experience
-Strong computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms)
-Experience with Python, JavaScript, Java, HTML, CSS
-Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React, Webpack, and NPM
-Experience designing and building RESTful APIs
-Experience with web frameworks like Flask or Django (a plus)
-Experience with cloud technologies (AWS preferred) and relational databases (Postgres preferred)
-Experience with Unix/Linux environments
-Understanding of designing for scalability, performance, and reliability
-Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented
-Eagerness to learn new technologies
-Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
-BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
