About the Opportunity
This is a part-time (20 hours/week) remote position where you’ll collaborate with a product team to design and implement exceptional user experiences. You’ll conduct user research, create prototypes, mockups, and style guides, and ensure designs meet user needs and business goals.
Responsibilities
-Lead user research and develop user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups.
-Implement existing design patterns and contribute to the style guide.
-Design new features and experiences in collaboration with product managers and developers.
-Conduct user research (interviews, testing, etc.) and provide feedback to developers.
-Collaborate with product managers to identify user problems and design solutions.
-Complete other design-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications
-3-5 years of UI/UX design experience
-Proficiency in Figma (other design tools considered)
-Experience with new product design and best practices
-Understanding of UI development (React, JavaScript, Python, MySQL a plus)
-Excellent communication and user research skills
-Prior mobile application design experience a plus
