UI/UX Designer with Google Looker

The Opportunity

This role is for a UI/UX Designer with experience designing user interfaces and experiences, specifically for enterprise-level applications and dashboards built with Google Looker. You’ll work closely with clients and internal teams to translate business objectives into user-friendly and visually appealing designs.

Responsibilities

-Collaborate with clients to optimize and customize Looker dashboards
-Analyze business problems and develop technology solutions
-Create innovative solutions that stay relevant to market trends
-Provide advisory services to senior management on technology-driven business transformation
-Manage and deliver technology projects, including application development and data migration
-Understand client operations and identify areas for improvement
-Leverage Excelacom’s expertise to bring new ideas to clients
-Develop business cases and roadmaps for client investment decisions
-Provide project and change management support
-Identify and qualify new business opportunities
-Design user-friendly applications that integrate seamlessly with client systems
-Develop a cohesive design ecosystem
-Conduct user research to inform design decisions
-Ensure a consistent user experience across all platforms
-Take a leadership role while remaining hands-on
-Solve challenges by analyzing data and identifying actionable insights
-Create prototypes and minimum viable products (MVPs) for user testing
-Maintain design systems and asset libraries
-Act as a liaison across various teams

Qualifications

-Bachelor’s degree in User Experience Design or a related field
-Prior consulting experience, especially in an agile environment, working with enterprise clients
-5+ years of experience in web application UX/UI design with a focus on customer-centered workflows
-Expertise in creating executive dashboards using Google Looker
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
-Strong collaboration, teamwork, and stakeholder management skills
-Ability to lead project workgroups and facilitate data gathering
-Passion for designing visually appealing and user-friendly applications
-Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
-Experience solving diverse UX design challenges
-Comfort working in a fast-paced, agile environment
-Advanced proficiency in wireframing and prototyping tools

Preferred Qualifications

-Prior experience in financial services, e-commerce, and the communications industry (with enterprise clients)
-Experience generating new business with existing clients
-Strong time management skills
