Simple Thread, a developer-owned, remote-friendly design company, is seeking a talented UX Lead to join their growing team.
In this role, you’ll:
-Lead UX design on various projects, from small to complex.
-Partner with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs.
-Conduct user research to inform user-friendly design decisions.
-Create wireframes, prototypes, and other UX deliverables.
-Advocate for the design process and user experience.
-Collaborate with designers and developers to bring your designs to life.
-Help maintain a positive and productive team environment.
You’ll be a great fit if you have:
-4-10 years of UX design experience, with a focus on custom software applications.
-Experience leading UX for complex web applications (a plus!).
-Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
-A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating simple, elegant solutions.
-Proficiency in UX design tools (Figma preferred, others considered).
-The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Bonus points if you:
-Have experience with object-oriented user experience (OOUX).
-Enjoy working in a remote environment with occasional on-site client meetings (Richmond, VA area preferred).
