Backflip, a fast-growing, well-funded real estate FinTech company, is searching for a Senior Software Engineer to join their dynamic team. You’ll play a key role in developing and enhancing their all-in-one platform that empowers entrepreneurs to acquire, renovate, and finance single-family homes.

You’ll be responsible for:
-Designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack solutions using Python, React, and React Native.
-Innovating and executing on features to enhance the user experience and platform capabilities.
-Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
-Contributing to the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable and maintainable code.
-Writing and maintaining automated tests to ensure code quality.
-Deploying applications to cloud environments and ensuring reliability.
-Collaborating on building RESTful APIs and other backend technologies.
-Estimating work efforts and meeting project milestones.
-Staying up-to-date on industry trends and sharing innovative ideas.
We’re looking for someone with:
-Proficiency in Python and React, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
-Familiarity with front-end technologies like JavaScript and React.js.
-Expertise in software development best practices and CI/CD pipelines.
-Experience with cloud frameworks (AWS, GCP, Firebase, etc.).
-A solid understanding of design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
-Experience with RESTful APIs and backend technologies.
-Familiarity with Docker and container-based environments.
-The ability to provide accurate estimates and deliver high-quality code.
-A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or 8+ years of equivalent experience.
