Responsibilities:
-Lead Front-End Development: Drive the development of user interfaces for Cedars-Sinai’s patient-centric web platform using React.js.
-Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, UX designers, and Back-end teams to translate requirements into responsive web applications.
-Architecture and Development: Design and implement modern web applications leveraging React.js, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and RESTful APIs for dynamic content.
-Technical Feasibility and Optimization: Ensure UI/UX designs are technically feasible, optimizing applications for speed and scalability.
-Best Practices and Documentation: Establish and maintain front-end development best practices, conduct code reviews, and produce technical documentation.
-Leadership and Mentoring: Provide leadership by mentoring junior developers, guiding daily tasks, and serving as a subject matter expert.
-Continuous Learning: Stay updated on front-end development trends and technologies, particularly in React.js and AEM.
Qualifications:
-Experience: 8+ years developing large-scale, customer-facing web applications.
-React.js Proficiency: 3+ years integrating React.js with headless content management systems.
-Technical Skills: Strong JavaScript, HTML, CSS skills; familiarity with Next.js, RESTful APIs, and state management.
-Design and Accessibility: Knowledge of responsive web design, modular design principles, and web accessibility standards (WCAG, Section 508).
-Testing and Deployment: Experience with cross-platform/browser/device testing, Agile methods, version control (Git), and front-end build tools (Webpack, npm).
-Leadership and Communication: Experience leading development teams, excellent problem-solving skills, and strong communication abilities.
-Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
