The Opportunity
Coterie is searching for a Senior Backend Engineer to join their growing team. In this role, you will play a key role in building and maintaining the systems that power their innovative insurance platform.
Responsibilities
-Develop, test, and document APIs and eventing systems
-Collaborate with leadership on architectural design
-Develop and improve existing backend products
-Work with product managers to define development strategies
-Mentor junior engineers
Qualifications
-Experience building production-ready APIs
-Strong understanding of unit testing and automated integration testing
-Experience with architectural design principles
-Experience mentoring junior engineers (a plus)
-Experience with Git and GitHub
