About the Opportunity

Join the Dayforce Security Engineering platform team to innovate and deliver scalable, performant frameworks enhancing the security posture of Dayforce products. This role focuses on building secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) strategies, implementing zero trust principles, and developing security capabilities across the Dayforce ecosystem, impacting millions of users globally.

What You’ll Get To Do

-Lead cybersecurity efforts within the platform team.
-Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and support software solutions across the entire lifecycle.
-Collaborate in Agile scrum teams to deliver new features and frameworks, engaging with stakeholders and -partners.
-Drive security training and awareness programs, promoting best practices.
-Document secure coding standards for Product and Technology teams.
-Create and enhance scalable, performant, and secure SaaS applications.
-Assess risks and impacts of new functionalities on existing systems.
-Conduct code reviews and mentor other developers.

Skills and Experience We Value

-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
-10+ years of experience with C# and .NET Framework.
-Proficiency in front-end frameworks and scripting (React, Angular, JavaScript).
-5+ years of experience in cybersecurity and/or cloud environments.
-Strong communication skills across various stakeholder levels.
-Extensive hands-on experience with security domains: Identity and Access Management, Data privacy, encryption, security policies, Fraud mitigation, Application security.
-Addressing CI/CD security risks, including Identity & Access Management.
-Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, Rego.
-Experience in global virtual environments and enterprise software development.
-Proficiency with T-SQL and relational database systems.
-Experience building architectural components and optimizing performance.

What Would Make You Really Stand Out

-Experience resolving security vulnerabilities and implementing secure coding practices.
-Knowledge of information security concepts: Identity and Access Management, Application security, data security, cross-site scripting.
-Privacy and compliance expertise.
-Familiarity with NIST cybersecurity frameworks.
-Excellent presentation and technical writing skills.
-Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP.
-Master’s degree in relevant field is a plus.
