Job Category

We are seeking an ethical, dependable, and diligent Accountant to join our fast-paced, growing company. This individual must quickly grasp business needs, interpret data meaningfully, and present information clearly and consistently. A strong desire to exceed expectations, the ability to multitask, self-motivate, and a flexible, can-do attitude are essential. This position reports to the Accounting Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the month-end close process and prepare financial statements.
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations for assigned accounts, identifying, researching, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Record monthly journal entries for revenue, COS, fixed assets, and various accruals with proper documentation.
  • Review expense reimbursements and corporate credit card charges, adhering to company policies and maintaining confidentiality of employee information.
  • Perform analytical reviews of monthly international financial packages from subsidiaries.
  • Prepare quarterly review and annual audit schedules, supporting SOX compliance for internal and external auditors.
  • Understand accounting concepts and GAAP.
  • Handle ad hoc requests and special projects, such as trend analysis for management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • 1+ years of experience preparing and recording transactions in accordance with GAAP.
  • Ability to self-start and self-direct work.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel (used extensively).
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems with moderate supervision.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, effective teamwork across all levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary: $65,000 – $80,000 USD annually (actual salary may vary based on geographic location and company compensation practices).
    Performance bonus or commission and equity in the form of restricted stock units.
  • Benefits: Health care, retirement benefits, paid days off (sick leave, parental leave, PTO, or vacation), and other tax-reportable benefits.
