The Opportunity

This is a fully remote position where you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of residential energy. You’ll collaborate with engineers and product managers to design intuitive and user-friendly experiences that make smart home technology accessible and engaging for millions.

Responsibilities

-Contribute to the vision and direction of the product roadmap
-Conduct user research to understand customer needs and inform design decisions
-Create user journeys and flowcharts to ensure a seamless user experience
-Work closely with cross-functional teams to bring your designs to life
-Design all aspects of the user experience, from wireframes to high-fidelity mockups
-Analyze data and conduct user testing to iterate and improve existing products
-Collaborate with other designers to provide and receive constructive feedback

Qualifications

-6+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio
-Proven ability to collaborate with product managers and engineers
-A knack for designing simple solutions to complex problems
-Excellent communication and presentation skills
-Proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools
-Collaborative spirit with a willingness to learn and grow
-Experience working in a remote environment (bonus points)

Bonus Points

-Experience with technical products and algorithms
-Experience with the intersection of hardware and software
-Experience presenting design work to clients
