Job Overview

Be a pivotal force in our growth by joining as an Accountant. This role is crucial for maintaining the company’s financial health by ensuring the accuracy of financial reports, maintaining robust accounting records, and implementing effective controls and budgets. This position requires excellent judgment, a solid work ethic, and a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Accounts Receivable tasks, including invoicing, manual check applications, aging reports, and account reconciliation.
• Enter routine journal entries and bank transactions.
• Manage Accounts Payable bills and credit card transactions when needed.
• Conduct month-end closing and reconciliation.
• Reconcile, investigate, and adjust accounting information.
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Support department peers as necessary.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1-2 years of experience with accrual basis accounting, including accounts receivable, journal entries, month-end closing, and reconciliation.
• Consistent and reliable attendance.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and manage projects.
• Detail-oriented with excellent proofreading and editing skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
• Exceptionally self-motivated and directed.
• Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based.
• Willingness to undergo a Level II background and/or security investigation, including fingerprinting.
• Willingness to submit to drug screening.

Work Environment

This role operates in a professional office environment, though performed remotely. While duties are primarily sedentary, they involve significant computer and telephone use. Occasionally, you may need to move around to accomplish tasks and handle objects up to 40 pounds.
