Job Summary:
This position is within Media Technology and Operations, a dynamic software team dedicated to automating workflows, creating user-friendly toolsets, and solving content flow and media system issues. Our team supports prominent brands including Live Sports, CNN, Cartoon Network, and Adult Swim.
We are actively seeking a motivated Front-end Developer to enhance our team. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player who can also work independently and is passionate about delivering technologies that improve the lives of end users.
Team Culture/Work Environment:

-Focus on completing projects efficiently
Key Projects:
-Syndication
-Big Bang Theory to CBS transfer
-Linear publishing
Daily Responsibilities:
-Develop and maintain applications using multiple frameworks in Jira and Git
-Build from user stories and actively participate in technical design
-Create efficient, scalable, secure, and observable applications
-Participate in team meetings and code reviews, giving and receiving feedback
-Build functional and efficient pages for our operational teams
-Proactively address technical issues
Technology Requirements:
-Solid experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js, alongside one or more of the following: React.js, Vue.js, or similar frameworks
-Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and responsive UIs
Years of Experience:
-Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Software Developer
Required Background/Skillsets:
-Understanding of fundamental design principles for scalable applications
-Knowledge of best practices and standards for web development
-Good understanding of asynchronous request handling and partial page updates
-Familiarity with RESTful APIs
